It is very important to consider about the Nutrition guideline located on the back of food packets but I believe more importantly to make sure that each body is getting the correct nutrition it needs, so this is not necessarily done by reading the back of a food package, this philosophy makes me different to other nutritionists.
Each nutritional situation is different it all depends on our environment, life style, amount of exercise, your dog’s favourite food, disease many things these type of situations only Mum can understand their dog’s lifestyle. Let’s work together to find the best quality recipe that works only for your dog.
Natural ingredients is God’s present for dogs not only humans. Our body is made up by eating good nutrition which makes our bodies healthy. Please ask Naoko if you have any concerns or doubts about what you are currently feeding your dog, or if you need help or support with your Vet’s plan. Most people believe that the root of a dog is the Wolf who is a meat eater only. Over time the Wolf started to eat different varieties of food this is how a dog begun. Dogs have changed over time as they now eat a much larger variety of food and by eating many kinds of nutrition they are now able to survive longer.
Cats are a completely different story as they understand what they need to eat they have a lot of knowledge this is why cats owners have trouble finding the right food for them and are often heard saying “my cat is so fussy she want eat this” so when they find something they like they get so excited.
In Japan this kind of knowledge of pet food is very important, and all Vetenarians now have a Pet Nutritionist like me working along side them and guiding pet owners on how to have healthy dogs. I am so happy to be able to pass on my Japanese style recipes to be able to help all dogs who have many kinds of problem.
It is no good if your pet is not eating what your Dr (Vetenarian) recommends, if they are not eating then they can not get the correct nutrition which means they will have no power to fight of their problems. There are many young dogs who's stools are very soft it is not necessary to give them medication what they first need to do is build up their immune system the best way of doing this is to change their feeding style a lot of dogs find it very difficult to digest commercial food as their immune system is not strong enough yet. They need your help Mum.

Many happy customer by Naoko`s consultation
Harry (maltese 10 years): Bone cancer After the Dr amputated Harry's leg his Mum changed his diet and started feeding Harry Chew Chew food every day. Harry's cancer has not come back and he can run around still on his 3 legs and is full of energy and his coat is shinning. By changing Harry's diet his body system immediately changed.
Jenny (shitzu 16 yeas): Pancreatitis. Jenny has been eating dry food for a very long time and eventually lost her appetiate her Mum was having a lot of trouble trying to get her to eat and become very concerned. At our consultation I taught Jenny's mum how to cook for her and Jenny now has her power back, eating very well and become the happy dog again that she was. It ca be a bit difficult calculating the correct nutrition but is definately worth it.
Bandy (cat 4 years) : urine stone problem. Bandy needed a lot of water so he could detox due to the medication he was taking which was making him very upset. I created a few recipes for his Dad to try as cat owners know they are all very fussy so we had to discover what his favourite food was. I am very glad to report a few weeks later the stone was gone yeh his Dad has now changed his diet and he is getting the correct balance of calcium and minerals he needs.
Momo (Pomeranian 6 years): Liver problem I wrote a lot of recipes for Momo she was in the very early stages of kidney problems and since her Mum has been feeding her all the delicious home made food she is now living a peaceful life, her Mum now gets her a blood test every year on my recommendation to check that all is ok.
Ray (Poodle 8 months): Diarrhea since birth The Dr tried many many ways to help Ray with medication and injections during this time his poo became ok, but as soon as the medication stopped the diarrhea came back. Finally the Dr suggested doing a CT scan, before this happened Ray's Mum contacted me as she was wanted to start feeding fresh food to Ray, I gave her some suggestions and she went home and feed Ray and the very next day he did a normal poo not diarrhea this was the first time since birth. Ray still has a very good digestive system and has never eaten commercial food since. My thoughts were that Ray was born prematurely it was not a disease problem.
Charlie (Golden Retriever 4 year): Allergy The Dr said Charlie had a meat allergy as he was itching and scratching a lot. To me I thought this does not make sense how could you say meat allergy really? For his whole life Charlie had never eaten fresh meat just dry food which is made up of meat by products. I thought no the poor thing he can not become a vegetarian. I recommended his Mum to start by feeding fresh chicken with vegetables (of course which would add more protein which he needs) and eventually introduce different meat too. Charlie is now in perfect condition his itching is now seasonal and coming from pollen but nothing like before his body now understands what meat and food is.

Early warning signs your pet may not be healthy
Our furry friends are so different to us humans so it can be hard to know when they are truly in good health. Let me ask you …
If you answer “Yes” to any of these questions, a change in diet can make a huge difference. Early intervention may even prevent chronic – and costly - health problems later.
I am also a qualified Pet Care Advisor thru the Japanese Pet Care Association (JPNA).
